Kailasapuram, Visakhapatnam: During the summer holidays, a three-day Children’s Camp was conducted at Velankanni Matha Parish, Kailasapuram, from 25 to 28 April 2026. A total of 80 students participated in the camp.

Fr. Santhosh, the Parish Priest, along with the Catechism teachers, animated the days with various interactive sessions and activities. Separate sessions were held for the high school students. The program included a variety of informative and engaging activities such as basic prayers and catechism, stories from the life of Jesus, devotion to Mother Mary, inspirations from the lives of the Saints, lessons on moral and social values, and interactive songs.

On the second day, the children were overjoyed by the presence of Most Rev. Udumala Bala, Archbishop of Visakhapatnam, who enlightened them with his inspiring message: “Our God is good all the time.”

The children participated with great enthusiasm and a strong competitive spirit in the various activities. Prizes were distributed to all the winners, and all participants received special gifts from the Parish Priest.
