Karahalli, Bengaluru: The Feast of Epiphany marks the Manifestation or Revelation of God’s love to the world in the Birth of Jesus.

On 4 January 2026 this feast was celebrated with unique traditional fervour at St. Jude Church Karahalli and St. Joseph Church Doddasagarahalli. Following the long tradition of the place, the parishioners integrated the ritual blessing of the livestock and the vehicles in the celebration of Feat of Epiphany of the Lord. The celebration acknowledges with gratitude the real blessings of the Lord in the lives of the people and the crucial role of the livestock in providing their daily bread.

The day’s celebration included festive Mass, the parade of the livestock decorated with colourful clothing and flowers and accompanied by music and dancing.
