Visakhapatnam: 19 January 2025 was a great day of joy for the faithful of Velankanni Matha Parish Kailasapuram, as the parish celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation of 92 candidates and the parish level inauguration of Jubilee 2025.

Most Rev.  Polimera Jayarao, the Bishop of Eluru and Apostolic Administrator of Visakhapatnam Archdiocese, presided the solemn Eucharist and administered the Sacrament of Confirmation.

The combined celebration of Confirmation and Inauguration of Jubilee Year was spiritually rewarding for the parish community to come together along with their Shepherd and celebrate the joy of belonging to one family.
