The summer vacations came in handy for Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Kodumuru, to organise preparatory sessions for the candidates of First Holy Communion in the Parish. About forty children from the different villages of the Parish assembled in the premises of Maria Nivas, Kodumuru for three consecutive days, 9-11 May 2018 for intensive catechetical instructions.  Nirmala Sisters from Vinukonda offered their generous help for the camp and organised all the sessions in a very lively and systematic manner. The Sacrament of first Holy Communion was later held in respective villages, on the occasion of the village feasts, with due solemnity and devotion.
